Table Saw Outfeed Extension

This outfeed extension is just the right size for catching work that exits the saw. It's just big enough to be handy and just small enough that doesn't get in the way.

It's just a board that rests on a commercial outfeed table that I bought at Home Depot. In its original form the outfeed table was oriented perpendicular to the way I have it.

The new top slides over this rail on the back of my saw. It's a tight friction fit and the only thing that holds the board in place, yet the board never moves while in use.
